The dirt compartment may be a bit small so it will be necessary to empty it quite often. IQ Robot XL performed well in tests and was responsive to the app controls. The app lets you select power modes, modify settings, and view the battery level of the robot when it's working. The app also features an Find Robot button that helps you locate the device in case it gets lost. Like other Shark products, the IQ Robot XL has impressive suction that is capable of tackling pet hair and dust. The self-cleaning brushroll stops hair from sticking to the machine as it is combs away debris. Its navigation module uses a combination of sensors to monitor the surrounding area while it moves, but it's not as thorough as those that employ LIDAR modules. It takes a few clean cycles before the IQ Robot XL completely maps your space. Compared with the iRobot Roomba 690, the Shark IQ Robot XL is more durable, has lower monthly costs and offers better performance across multiple surface types. However the iRobot is built better, runs more quickly, has comparable battery performance, and has an extensive set of automation capabilities that allow you to customize your home's coverage map using no-go zones. 4. Eufy 11S The Eufy 11S is a great option for those who want an automatic vacuum cleaner that can clean on their schedule but don't require smartphone or voice control. The sleek robot is easy to install and maintain, and it can easily remove dirt and dust. It's best suited for cleaning light-duty daily to keep your floors looking great. It's not as impressive as our other top picks, but still has some advantages worth taking into consideration. Its small size allows it to get under low-profile furnishings that other vacuums cannot.
